Hello,

my name is Andy and I am a Zippo Collector from Germany.

It all started in 1986 when I was 17 and on holidays in London where I bought

my very first Zippo lighter. In 2000 then I got infected with the ebay virus and
today I have quiet some more Zippos than I ever expected to call my own.
But I think this is what every Zippo collector  might think some day...
Since I found out Zippo did not only make lighters I have always been looking
for other items to add to my collection such as ZipLights, newspaper ads, flint
dispensers, golf balls, playing cards, fluid cans and so on...

At the moment I have about 750 Zippos and about the same amount of Zippo
related items. Not all of these are online yet but I am updating this homepage
quiet as often as I can so if you like you are invited to come back soon...
As you will find out I do always try to give as much information on every item
as I can. So in case you should find any mistakes or have further information
any help is always highly appreciated.

Just send me an email or sign my guestbook.

Getting to know a lot of nice people from all over the world through the years
it is just like my friend Bill said to me:

" It's amazing to me how a little piece of metal brings people

together from all over the World and forms new friendships. "

I hope you enjoy your visit,

PS:  My friend Robin from Hendersonville who most of the Zippo Collectors
and Click Members might know asked me for what is coming next:
"One of my favorite things to see on someone's website is a picture of
the person. It makes all their lighters, etc. much more personal to me.
Hey, you can always try it... ;-) Think about it, don't YOU like it when you see
a picture of a person? You know, put a face with a collection?!"
Ok, persuaded in the end...
In May 2003 my wife Petra and me spent our long vacation in Punta Cana,
Dominican Republic. Although we had a great time I learned this in no place
to find interesting Zippos...

...but the perfect place to relax...

...bright sunshine, white sands, crystal clear water and a blue sky...

(Saona Island at the south eastern end of the Dominican Republic)
In May 2005 I was in need of a new car and I decided to look
for a license plate that shows my addiction, so here it comes

The "RE" stands for my hometown and the rest is self explaining...
